Spring Comes to Nettlebed
We had a lot of rain this spring. While we were in Turkey there was a lot of sun and it got warmer. It is now shorts and T-shirt weather. This caused the grass to grow and it was six inches high when we returned. Therefore, Saturday was a work day, spent mowing, clipping and generally cleaning up the landscaping.
There are number of fields planted with rapeseed, which is basically canola. These plants are flowering right now, presenting a carpet of yellow as far as you can see.
